SEARCHING FOR JIMMY BUFFETT

A humorous adventure full of social satire.

BOOK SCENARIO - Sister Moonbeam-Goom-jigi, a hallucinatory, burned out, hippy flower child of the 60’s, wrongfully thinks her late in life son is the by-product of an imagined one night stand with Jimmy Buffett. Years later on her deathbed her final words inadvertently send her son, 14 year old James "Bean" Buffett Jr., on a quest to find his namesake famous father. And so the naive home schooled socially lacking young Bean and his scraggly little one eared telepathic dog Fruitcake, embark on an incredible adventure in his mother’s car the Celstial Rocket, an oddly painted 1955 Nash Metropolitan convertable. From old St. Augustine, Florida, they head south to all points weird, leaving behind an estranged despicable uncle conspiring to steal a fortune the young boy doesn’t even know he has.

During their travels Bean and Fruitcake collect three colorful companions in the person of; Chi Chi, an illegal alien Cuban girl and resourceful fast thinking wannabe movie star who is pursued by agents of Fidel Castro, a homeless vagrant genious named Roachie who thinks he’s stupid because he lost a billion dollar high tech enterprise, and an ever strange but talented Boner Jones, a mysterious multi-talented impersonator and paranoid schizophrenic conspiracy theorist with a deep secret.

Their quest and travels take them to a number of places where Bean and company encounter and have to deal with bizarre characters and situations that include; dangerous surf Nazis, killer Haitian drug runners, members of a Cuban underground, a Parrothead extremist cult, incompetent Mexican pirates, mysterious Bayou gypsies, extreme California crackpots, and more; all the while being pursued by a hit man Catholic priest.

Searching for Jimmy Buffett is a hilarious politically incorrect book full of non-stop humor that increases your interest with each page. One book you surely don't want to pass up.

THE LAST JAZZ, Feature Film Script

SCENARIO: Born at the same moment in the same hospital, two boys become lifelong friends who together survive their youth and the Vietnam War. Both then enter law school when they both spend a summer as mercenaries which leads to one, Alex Martindale, to finish school and join the CIA while the other, Kelly Lanier, continues a life as a mercenary and become a world class assassin. Alex turns to his first love as a jazz musician after a tumultuous but effective career as a field agent with the CIA in South America but is manipulated by the agency into returning to Rio Degenaro, Brazil, the location of the violent death of his pregnant wife. He returns for what he thinks is a music gig but what turns out to be tied to secret disarmament talks between the U.S. and the Soviet Union. The entire situation is eventually revealed to be a farce designed by the agency to surface Kelly Lanier their most wanted assassin who has been hired to disrupt the negotiations by killing selective participants, and to have him eliminated by the hand of his best friend Alex, a scenario in which no one can win. This multi-level international story of intrigue involves the test of a friendship, a struggling love affair, tragedy, betrayal, revenge, and tense action.
